FSpaceRPG article

Status: Beta

I’ve been looking at some Wikis for collaborative work for us.

Ideally I’ve been looking at a PHP MySQL solution to tie in with my own work.

MediaWiki used to power Wikipedia is a good example of a Wiki, but I’ve struck a problem.

MediaWiki doesn’t appear to have the security we need. It talks a lot about needing a CMS or DMS package installed to provide the appropriate restrictions. It’s default config doesn’t protect uploaded documents or images, requires patches and other things need to be turned off.

Seems to be a lot of work.

I’m going to have a look again at Leopard Server and it’s Wiki engine, because that might do exactly what we want.

Product suggestions from tech heads are welcome.
